Eco policy

"Santerra Forschungs- und Vertriebs-GmbH" operates an environmentally responsible company policy and through this actively addresses the challenges associated with protecting the environment and human health in the present day.

This means that, as well as fundamentally minimising environmental burdens, legal regulations such as the Act on Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ElektroG) or the 5th Amendment of the Packaging Directive (VerpackV) are successfully implemented throughout the company.

ElektroG

RoHS compliance ("Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances") based on EU Regulation 2002/95/EC

The magnetic field therapy devices we produce are classed as medical devices and are therefore not subject to the requirements of the RoHS Regulation.
Nevertheless, "Sanza"-branded magnetic field therapy devices have environmental awareness integrated into their design and contain none of the substances banned by the RoHS Regulation such as lead, cadmium, mercury, chrome (VI) etc.

WEEE compliance ("Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment") based on EU Regulation 2002/96/EC

The magnetic field therapy devices produced by "Santerra Forschungs- und Vertriebs-GmbH" which require registration under the terms of the ElektroG legislation are "medical products" (Category 8) of the device type referred to as "medical products for use in private households". Free return via local authority collection facilities and Elektro-G-compliant disposal of the magnetic field therapy devices marketed by us under the brand name "Sanza" are ensured.
This is documented through the WEEE Reg. No. DE 85903359 issued by the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (EAR).

VerpackV

To ensure the legally compliant disposal of our sales packaging, we have signed up to the dual disposal system (DSI) through "INTERSEROH Dienstleistungs GmbH".
Our licence number is: 142915
As a result, our sales packaging complies with the 5th Amendment of the VerpackV legislation.
